Data Acquisition with Web Interface

This template application uses the middleware's network component to display incoming sensor data from an accelerometer and magnetometer on a web page. Using CGI scripting and JavaScript, the user can change the recording interval of the incoming data. The following MDK-Professional middleware components are used:

  • Network with the Compact Web Server to display the data

The following CMSIS-Driver help to connect the peripheral devices and the network to the application:

  • I2C to connect to the external sensors
  • Ethernet MAC and PHY to enable networking

This application consists of seven six steps that are explained in application note 271. The following table gives you direct access to each step:

Step   Description
Create a Simple Project PDF Create a new project for the FRDM kit with initialization files and the main module. Setup the debugger.
Create a new RTX Thread PDF Add and configure a CMSIS-RTOS Thread. Debug with Kernel awareness.
Interface the FOSX8500 MEMS Sensor PDF Add Accelerometer and Magnetometer support to the Sensor Thread.
Integrate the HTTP Server PDF Add Network Middleware and CMSIS Driver support.
Interface to CGI PDF Add the Group "Web" and image file loc.cgi.
